Lighting Looks for Spring

It’s safe to say that we can all agree on one thing: we are ready for some warm weather!  One of our favorite parts of the season change is the introduction of new fixtures.  Let’s refresh your home for spring, bringing some brand new beautiful (and totally unique!) fixtures in!

LAMPS: we love a good lamp.  From floor lamps to table lamps, desk lamps to those that make a major statement, lamps are the perfect way to update your space without investing in an all-out reno.  Here are some of our favorite spring introductions:

EVERLEIGH

Talk about spring!  This beautiful lamp features a stunning glass in the color “Orchid”, and is paired with a linen shade.

Also available in clear and smoked glass, this lamp is sure to make an impression!

TIGLIA

When we said unique fixtures, this is exactly what we meant!  Plaster white with a white linen shade, with those oh-so sweet accents.

This lamp is giving us some elegant structural vibes with a playful pop!

Designer: Kelly Wearstler

BREE

Another unique, playful yet completely classic-in-it’s-own-way table lamp.  The marble gives this lamp its timeless look, while the curves and movement allow for a relaxed, laid back accent.

CHANDELIERS: one of the best ways to update the look and feel of your space is to update your fixtures, so naturally, we are always excited to see the latest in design trends when it comes to chandeliers! Take a look at some of our top picks for spring:

ALLOWAY

Statement chandeliers are some of the best kind!  Even better are statement chandeliers in designs that we haven’t seen before.

This new take on a modern chandelier is leaving us feeling inspired.

Designer: Kate Spade New York

BELFAIR

If modern statements aren’t your style, don’t worry!  Simple, elegant and timeless designs have just been launched as well.

We are loving the clean lines and simplicity of this stunning fixture

Designer: Ian K. Fowler

KINDLEY

When straight lines, sharp angles and smooth curves meet, this is what happens!  And we are so here for it.

This fun and quirky design is perfect for spaces that need something a little different.  Think spaces with minimal statements and soft accents.

Designer: Kate Spade New York

PENDANTS: Pendants play such a huge role for typically being smaller in scale!  These fixtures allow you to inject color, bold statements, unique textures and major design elements into your space.  It was hard to narrow down just our top three intros, but we did it:

ORMOND

In celadon and gild, this lantern style pendant is what dreams are made of!  The shape, the colors, and detail make this pendant a must-have

Plus, what could be more spring-inspired than pastel tones?

Designer: Julie Neill

LAKMOS

Directed light, but make it beautiful!  Plaster white and the perfect bell shape has us loving this design!

Perfect for spaces where you need some focused light, or where you’re looking to add some silhouette elements!

Designer: AERIN

QUANDO

Is any list even complete without a two-toned brass and bronze fixture?

Modern design coupled with classic finishes makes for the perfect statement that suits all spaces.

Designer: Thomas O’Brien

CEILING FIXTURES: ceiling heights don’t have to be high to have a visually impactful statement fixture. Here are some spring ceiling fixtures that are sure to leave an impression:

FARFALLE

The Farfalle collection is (and always will be!) an all-time favorite of ours.  We are so excited to see this addition.

We’re not sure what we love more: the spring vibes we’re getting from the butterflies or the thought of those beautiful shadows that will be cast on evening walls.

Designer: Julie Neill

LEIGHTON

Another favorite of ours is the Leighton collection.  Just like Farfalle, we are thrilled to see this line being extended to larger ceiling fixtures and additional chandeliers!

Of course, the blush tinted glass is perfect for spring, but this series is also offered in multiple glass and finish colors.

Designer: Kate Spade New York

KEAN

A classic, timeless design with a playful hand-rubbed antique brass design.

The frosted glass diffuser on the bottom will ensure even light throughout your room, while the glass rods add just the right amount of sparkle.

Designer: Chapman & Myers

WALL SCONCES: our walls line our homes, keeping everything we love and cherish most within. It only makes sense that we show our walls just how much we appreciate all they do! Updating your sconces is an easy way to change the aesthetic of your home! Here are three of our top spring introductions:

GAYA

Just when we thought creative design for sconces has peaked (I mean, there are SO many beautiful and creative designs!), we get this!

A completely unique take on a classic shaded sconce with smooth, playful curves.  We’re seeing both elegance and quirk and we love it.

Designer: AERIN

MOLLINO

Plaster white, with the perfect amount of back light.  While we don’t recommend this design for vanities or task lighting, we see this elegant, modern design anywhere that is needing a little extra something-something.

We’re thinking halls, entry walls, theater rooms and dining rooms.

Designer: AERIN

PRESIDIO

This scone is actually an OUTDOOR fixture!  While we typically think of clear glass and sleek design as interior only, your exterior is in for a major upgrade: whether you use these fixtures on either side of your front door, or create a backyard living oasis!
